Sam and I had such a blast during her session. We roamed the streets of downtown minneapolis and talked about her future plans for life.

That's what I love most about all the seniors that I meet, is hearing about their futures, full of possibility and hope. It is a time in their life where they are on the brink of something new and exciting- they literally get to create their life, and choose their next step. I love hearing about that next chapter that they are about to write for themselves; and I am so blessed I get to capture them at this state of bliss.

Meet Corinne. Her sister and I were best friends when we were young, and I can vividly remember playing dress up and make-believe with her and all the Dennis girls when we were young.

Now she has grown up to be a beautiful young lady with a heart of gold. She is so kind and loving to everyone around her, and I am so honored to capture the beautiful girl she has grown up to be!

I don't specialize in newborn photography. In fact, I haven't captured a newborn session in over a year.

I like to say I specialize in capturing real moments... A photojournalistic feel.

For this shoot we used nothing fancy. No lights, no backdrop, no intricate baby poses. just the natural light pouring through a window, and a sweet baby sleeping on his mommy and daddy's bed.
